Who we are...
Barcelona based cover band The Bob Standards have been playing at weddings, events and parties for more than five years, working for clients such as Tourism Ireland, Barcelona Casino, Davies Tanner, the Aragon Theatre Network and many local governments around Spain.
Brian O'Mahony (Lead Vocals, Guitars): Since completing his PhD Brian has dedicated his time to developing his musical abilities both on stage and off it. Previously he played in Dublin as a singer-songwriter and since 2006 is the lead singer of Los Stompers.
Dara Luskin (Vocals, Bass guitar): A professional musician since the age of 17, Dara began by playing in cover versions bands in Dublin. He currently combines his music career with running The DifficultTimes Production Company.
Frank McMahon (Vocals, Guitars, Mandolin): Frank started out playing in Rock & Roll bands but since then has moved on to play traditional music, learning the mandolin, mandola and banjo. He is involved in various projects including the dance show An Taisteal and the Country blues group Ded Grandad.
Marcos Lopez (Vocals, Drums): Marcos has been a professional musician for over a decade. He has played with Barcelona based groups such as Noor, Los Stompers and the Hot Carjillos as well as international acts such as Paulina Rubio and John Carter Cash.
